I love Zona's show. Very enjoyable, and informative. Have you seen the episode with Aaron Martens? Wow, tear jerker. What a great guy he must have been.

Yea, I have always liked Zona. I'd like to go smallmouth fishing with him once. Seems like a fun guy to be around.

Zona just about ran smack over my wife at the classic one year, while rushing through the crowd. I can't remember if it was in Knoxville or Greenville, but people were shoulder to shoulder.

LOL! I had a close encounter like that with Ted Nugent at the NRA convention. He plowed right into me, apologized, and had already walked away before my hubby said "You know who that was, don't you?????"
Aaron was a great guy. I don't know a pro out there that didn't like him. I haven't seen the Zona episode yet but just Aarons battle choked me up. I talked to him at a couple tourneys and he was more than gracious and always a godly man! God must of needed to add a good fisher of men cause he got a great one in Aaron. I'll have to look for that episode.

Zona is a good fisherman but his voice is sometimes like nails on a chalkboard to me. I do like his Michigan Smallmouth shows and I also like the way he explains his technique and lure choice.

Yep. Zona's awesome! One of the best and most entertaining personalities in the fishing industry. And, I agree, the episode about A Mart was very well done...and a tear jerker. Everybody loved ol' Aaron Martens!
