Good luck this morning young boys and girls.
Sick em kids!!
Me and Jr are guarding the back field from the barn right now, it's pouring. We'll be in the woods this afternoon.
Up in Ohio co for our last youth weekend. Be safe everybody.
We are setting in the blind listening to a coyote bark and howl about 200 yards away in the timber. Somebody who shall remain nameless his the off button on the alarm this morning and woke 45 minutes later than intended.
Had 2 doe and 3 little ones run out of the dry pond behind the blind as we walked in.
Had to work 12hrs. Going on 2hrs sleep I’m not young anymore but out with my neighbors son trying to get him his first buck. Had a nice 10pt in here on cell cam about 40 minutes before we arrived. Hoping he comes back.
Good Luck All!
Good luck. Keep us posted.
We decided last night to sleep in this morning and see what the weather is doing this afternoon.
We've been tucked in the shooting house since 1:30 before daylight. First morning sit overlooking this 40 acre bean field. I've been seeing an 8 and 10 in the afternoons here the past 2 weeks. Not a single deer so far this morning. Hopefully we get a crack at them this afternoon before the OOS hunters do.
Good luck everyone
Since my last post had a doe vacuuming acorns across the creek. He was ready to shoot but it was a bit far for his first live target shot. When she crossed the creek instead of coming closer she went the other way. Im glad seeing her got him pumped.
6 pt and two doe at 8:05. Rain starting to set in now.
Out like a light! Time for the buck I heard grunt or another doe to make an appearance.
That’s a good pic
