If we're talking hard up, just looking for a bite from anything. Depending on where and what conditions I'm tying a 1/4oz chart/white rocket shad, gitzit minnow jig, bubble belly road runner, drop shot rig w/4" worm, 4" weightless senko or 2" powerbait swim bait.

None of them are my #1 choice, but regardless of conditions if one of those won't catch fish I'm going to the house.

I’d like to get started fishing bull shade. Which would you recommend for highly pressured east ky lakes? Technique?
Glide baits work really well on laurel. Got a buddy that kills them on the kgb Chad Shad. Bullshad is coming out soon with something similar that I’m sure will work just as well

I have about $4000 in big swimbaits. Throw em on heavy line and you’ll be fine. I’ve lost 1 or 2 over the years

Haha well, i am not terrible at casting but I am still a woman if you know what i mean. The line may not even be able to save me on some.
For 15 bucks i may only take it to the cleanest of lakes far from trees though.

Gotta throw em where you think you’ll get hung to get bit. I’ve had some awesome days on big baits. If you’re in a boat and get snagged you can always go get em
