For any type of fishing, whats your tried and true Go To baits and lures? The dirty little secret that gets them on the line, the never fail rooster tails and etc.

I have 4 tackle boxes/dividers. One only has hooks and sinkers basically. The rest is all divided by species im targeting.

But my top baits I know are good for it are shockingly few.

*Red and black Culprit worm--this one is bass catnip. Its a KILLER to jig with. Its my #1 hands down.

*The Stanley Top Toad watermelon red pearl.
This lure I personally know has caught personal bests for several people including myself. Bass smash this thing at a slow steady reel.

*For the smaller fish I like the white and black teeny dot mister twister grub.

*A small standard silver blue roostertail.

*Lastly those stupid expensive super small black panfish poppers.

Beetle spin. Almost always a beetle spin. White. Damn near all species.
For bigger bass, I generally throw a jig and pig.
But that's all when I'm just playing. Only time I fish serious is for big catfish. And that's generally a live bait affair.

Youre kidding! I just picked a jig n pig up from a parking lot of a lake this past weekend. Havent even tried it yet

For bass a Shakey Head. My preference is a 6.95 Reaction Innovations trick worm in green pumpkin on a D and L head.
For Crappie Bobby Garland 1.5 inch in pearl or monkey milk.

If you're talking about a bait for all species, a #3 mepps is hard to beat. It will catch any fish that swims that isn't a filter feeder. That being said, you'd crap your pants if you saw the amount of tackle I have, I only fish for fun these days, and I've sold at least half of it.......

Why don't you stock your cement pond with Florida strain and host a bass tourney????

Jig for bass. Jig for crappie. Crankbaits for walleye.

2nd would be spook for bass, minnow for crappie, and night crawler harness for walleye. Those three species is all I ever fish for anymore.
