Ambassaduer 6500. C3 model (silver colored) is what I prefer but C4 is 6.3:1 as opposed to 5.3:1, in case you're in a hurry. Very rugged reels. Few will disagree

I like the Abu Garcia's 6500's & 7000's. depends on what im doing on the size I will grab. Try to look around and find one that has made in Sweden on it.

I would also like to add if you want a spinning reel I would have to agree with redrivergar the shimano baitrunner is a good one.

Same here. I don't think they make a better/more reliable reel.

I have always been an abu fan. The newest record series is awesome. You should try one. A bit more money than a 65oo but way smoother and cast better

About garcia 7000 but if u want get a decent reel at a cheaper price get on amazon and look up the okuma reels

I like the Abu Kalex, have 2 and a 6500 as well.

I actually have the 6600 C4, not the 6500.
