    Have missed seeing your reports this year. Widgeon reportedly are mostly vegetarian so they have been good to eat IME.

    It really does look like a delicious dish. Oysters might have been a little past prime but for that use they cooked up great Id say from the picture . Nice to see some family getting some birds.

    Used to shoot a lot on the Marshes of the Chesapeake and in Canada we have had some really good Widgeon beat downs on pea fields. They are very tasty! That looks very good BM!
