ToJo Yamamoto and his wooden shoe, remember those days! He use to wear their heads out! lol
My mother worked for a very wealthy man in Glasgow. He owned a lake home down on Old Hickory, or Percy Priest, can't remember which. Tojo lived next door. Mr. Mitchell said Tojo was a very quiet and very polite man.
Some of those guys just took too many steroids
Ya think? lol.
Those are a lot of the ones I remember
Yeah but the best will always be
Jerry The King Lawler taking a beating and... "OOO chat!"... the Leotard strap is jerked down and he'd hold that knuckle up. Flat wear some heads out LMOA
Which is why many died young..
Those guys weren’t on steroids....they just worked out really really hard and ate right. The ultimate warrior would never put that crap in his body. Shows what you guys know
Moved to Cobb county GA in the early 80s a lot of the WWF or WWE (can't remember what it was called then) were based out of that area. It wasn't unusual to see several of them out eating together after a workout or even after an event where they just beat the crap out of each other.. The road warriors were often seen at a local steakhouse chowing down on several steaks , from what I heard those boys ate good..
Big Boss Man was a legend in that area! People loved him. And you’re right, it was a wrestling hotbed for some reason.
Hell not sure how it is now but early 90's Memphis was Elvis Presley, BBQ & Jerry The King Lawler you would have thought he was the mayor.
They even had there own militia..................The Hart Army................. blahahbalahaha... Mouth of the South, baby
Tojo was my favorite
And Junkyard Dog.
Those two big guys that packed the big bones around. Wasn’t they “the moon dogs”? Liked Steve Kerr and Stan lane I think it was as a tag team.
Long ago, I met Bullet Bob Armstrong, Andre the giant , blackjack mulligan (and his son much later) some others I don't recall
