I saw this thread on another forum and it was awesome. I really look forward to seeing all the retriever pictures, whether while training or in the field. So I thought it would be neat to keep a running thread of dog pictures. So post them up, new or old.

It's my favorite thread on dhc. They never let it fall off the first page.

I've been meaning to upload some images but since the new update, I couldn't get tapatalk to work. And my pictures were too large to upload. So now, I'm using a picture re-sizer. Kinda stinks but it'll work I guess.

Over the last month, we've been working on the T pattern almost every day. I've been lacking on marks, and it shows. But not having a bird girl(my wife) every day hurts. I'd like some wingers but it is what it is. We've progressed through the T and started the water T Sunday. All the time we spent on land has really paid off. So far, River has ran the water scenarios as perfect as I could've asked of him.

I'm no dog trainer. Not even close. But I can't stress this enough...if you are trying to train your dog, spend the money to get a solid foundation under them. River was sent to a professional trainer for 4 months. I can see it every day. He is soooooooo much easier to train than my first lab. Night and day difference. Oh and he loves picking up softballs.
