Yes. Turkeys have just finished off the wheat heads on my pond dam. They have been wearing it out. Clover is looking good.
I’ve never plant wheat in a established clover plot. But I do like to start my clover plots in wheat.
Just sprayed round up on about half my clover plots this weekend. Will be planting winter wheat and clover back in them.
I just realized what you asked. Ive broadcast clover into wheat but dont remember sewing WW into clover without killing and tilling first. Id say if you cut the clover right before a good rain then sow in the WW you should get decent germination. Im going to try it because spraying and killing the vegetation on my dam has caused erosion and ive had to regrade it.
