Don't know about your area but in mine central part of state this has been a messed up winter with wind blowing hard a lot of the week. I don't have much success in blowing wind besides being darn cold right at daylight or evening. Then it's rained most every week to, on already soaked ground with standing water since November. Can't cross fields in truck to some favorite spots.Saturday is the fur sale in Elizabethtown at the Prichard Center and I will find out if this has affected others hunting, not so much trapping.

I don't like hunting if it's very windy. The wet and cold doesn't bother me. The wind is always blowing out west, and that doesn't seem to stop people from hunting, so maybe it's just a personal choice.
