    They're probably domestic, which is totally legal.

    That's funny. I could see someone trying to sale them. For the ones who want to rifle hunt them there you go. Can't get much easier than that. That's just funny.

    My father in law raises egg and meat chickens and i was looking in one of his catalogs that he orders from and sure enough there are hatchling Eastern Wild Turkeys for sale in them. They are not legal to have in Kentucky and that is made clear when you look at KDFW's website. But they are available from Murray McMurray Hatchery

    I just about bet you (given the timing) that somebody stumbled on a nest and hatched them out. Wouldn't be the first time that I've heard of or seen that happen.

    I have heard, if our elk are standing in a puddle...they are easy targets with a cattle prod..:)

    Any wild strain of turkey, no matter how it is obtained, is illegal in Kentucky. You are supposed to have a permit for any wild strain, but to my knowledge the state wont issue one.
