My wife hasn't got to hunt much since she's a school teacher and I work basically second shift I haven't got to take her but a time or two since season started. Well she got tired of not getting to go so she decided she was just gonna go by herself. She hunted two afternoons in the past two weeks by herself and seen hens but no legal birds. Third time was the charm this afternoon! She got in the blind about 4:30 and texted me me the bird down message. I called her and saying she was super excited would be an understatement. Proud of her for doing it on her own.
    Bird was a big one.
    25lbs
    10 1/2" beard
    1 1/4" spurs
