I know Pat has moved on a while now, BUT, I would have thought Covert would still make some kind of effort to patronize their Home State's Hunters.
What's up with that?

Good question? I also noticed their complete absence in the most recent Bowhunter mag article on trail cameras. Must be a pay for play article, because some real garbage brands got talked up in a positive way.

Not sure what they are doing for marketing but Im glad Pat turned me on to them. I run 3 black 60's 24/7 and have been for a couple of years. Best cams Ive used as far as battery life and cutting way down on nothing pics.

What exactly do you want them to do???

Personally I miss their active presence here, on this forum, via a pretty cool spokesman that participated, and the personal contact that Pat provided in purchasing from Covert. Maybe nobody can do it better than he, but I miss the interaction here.

Have any problems with Covert cameras ? I had two Moultrie's flash fail last year for some reason. One was several years old with a tube type flash bulb and they don't last forever, and the other might have had the wrong output battery's in it. I have not checked it yet with better battery's. I contact them and even tho both were out of warrantee they send me two cameras of my choice from their line at 50% off. I thought that was good customer service.

We bought 4 of the MP8 black cameras this past weekend at the NWTF convention. I spoke with the Operations Manager from Covert while there, she seemed like a very nice young lady. She said right now they are really busy and it is hard to get the time to run the cameras and post pictures like Pat did for them.

Have any problems with covert........

Once, only once. Their response was superb. MP6 Black was 3 months out of warranty, the replaced it at NO COST with an MP8 black. Between their quality and customer service, I am loyal.

Contrast that with WGI that sells junk and does not back it up.

I will go along with WGI selling junk. I bought a feeder timer from them last year to set up another feeder. When the temp drop below 20 degree day 3 of setup with a new battery it stopped working, the digital readout went blank. I took it back to where I got it from Walmart and got a refund. Thinking I just got a bad one I took the refund money and bought another. Same thing when the temp dropped again, I didn't take it back tho. Sent WGI a e-mail on the issue to see about sending it back since they it was under warranty about how to return, ask about if they ever did any quality control and have never got any word back. I may use it for a summer setup and see if it works then but I have my doubts.

Covert is still an active, and appreciated, sponsor of this forum. I have nothing but good things to say about their cameras and customer service. Potroast is out putting some of our Coverts over some new trophy rocks as I type this
