In the woods or on the water
I like the 10 day season here. Let's me go to new farms in Zone 1 or 2. I find a property line fence and hunt it. That way if I'm approached by some pencil pushing farm leaser I just claim I'm from the other farm and let them have it out with the property owner. If that fails I just road hunt and throw em in the back of the truck. What I really like to do is sit in my truck and fire shots before daylight and after dark for the heck of it so everyone thinks their big buck got poached.

Man this takes a long time to type on my Obama phone.

Like many guys have said, we couldn't handle another week of gun season in Johnson County. But I would be willing to bet when I am in the stand this weekend, there will be several high powered shots ring out...I don't think gun season ever goes out for some people.

Last time I checked the season is still open in zones 3 and 4..... Put down the novice weapon and pick up the advanced hunters weapon. Of course you can't hunt from your truck with a bow. People say they don't have time to bow hunt but they sure manage to find time to kill I mean hunt with a gun.

Yep note my original post. Fayette or boone which county should I use. Hey you know those county codes? I'm
of course I can still put my excalibur out the window. But that's too difficult. I like my 7mm mag. Drops em in their tracks. Easier to load. After I shine the light in their eyes. They don't run nearly as far. Now elk we use the crossbow out the window. Too risky. No one cares about deer around here anymore.

No but I have rode around with my bowtech d 340 in the bed. I've been pretty successful. You should try it some time. It's not easy hitting one on the dead run in the spine at 100 yards. I just cut their throat and suck out the blood like a fighting chicken. It's a thrill and a half.

Why would I use a bow out the window. That's kinda counterintuitive. I'll just shoot my .308 at them. The magazine holds 20. I'll break them down or have more fun than watching a barrel full of monkies with a football doing it.
