I checked cameras. It looks like I have one shooter and one borderline still alive. It’s been dead all week in the stand. They are nocturnal here.
If we get a weather event or cold snap I’ll try a few more times but my resolve is just about gone. Been a fun season but the dark heading to work and 45 minutes of light after work has me down and out.

I just pulled in at a huge church on the outskirts of Huntington to do backflow testing. I'm sitting in the parking lot waiting on the head of maintenance to arrive. There is a mid 140s buck locked down with a doe about 50 yards up the hill from me. I've tried to get a picture 20 times but no dice it's just to brushy.
