Who's going out in the morning?

Sitting in the pole barn this morning . Looking out the back window watching a clover plot and a corn pile.. The deer have been hammering it pretty good , I never hunt it but figured it might be a good day to just stay out of the woods. As stated above you guys be careful out there and stay away from the dead limbs.

Just behind barn in blind so brushed in I struggle to find it a bit. Very windy in Henderson but looking into valley than is always a calm travel corridor on days like today. I have to go to work in one hour. My son and I plan to eat summer sausage and watch the corn pile between the lake and the border of the state forest when I get back home. Our stand will be the second floor bathroom of my house ( perfect 75 yard shot), good luck and be careful

Had a large racked buck that left moments before i was comfortable shooting he was wide and had some mass but i figure if i cant make out tine length at 50 yards with a 4x scope i need to wait a few more minutes. Hoping he comes back but Im second guessing my decision at the moment lol.

Always seems like you screwed up when this happens, but the longer I hunt the more I realize guessing is a worse habit than being patient. Hope he comes back.

he came back 30 seconds after my encouragement comment a little short on tine length but he is a STUD 11 main frame with 13-14 points.
