There are always unanswered prayers to. I prayed to God to save my first marriage , he did not and it was the best thing that could have happened to both of us.

I know God does not like divorce, after a Holy vow is made before Him, and I am not under the impression that He considers a second marriage above sin.

I can honestly say that a divorce was one of the best things that could've happened to me,
We had 2 children together and I tried to make it work for them, they both later told me that it would've been better on them to have done it sooner, but when life throws you curves, you have to learn from it and try to make wiser decisions.

I somehow think that you, myself and everyone else sin daily,
    no human is perfect,
just a bunch that tries to act like they are!!!

It depends on the reason, if your just bored with each other and get a divorce God would consider that sin.

However if there was adultery on one or more of the person's in the marriage divorce is ok and not sin. So there are actually two instances in the Bible where divorce is permissible In the case of consistent, unrepentant immorality. When an unbelieving spouse deserts a believer.

If you divorce, you should not remarry, is my understanding of God's word. I don't believe that we get to pick and choose which parts of His word we believe.

I always told my wife that a marriage license should be just like a car and have to be renewed every year. Don't pay to renew and bam you're not married anymore.

Impure thoughts, selfishness and so forth,
even trying to get to a parking spot before someone else qualifies as selfishness...

I stand by my statement everyone does it daily.

True there was only one perfect man ever and he died over 2000 years ago.

Anyone else who thinks they are perfect is delusional.

I doubt that God believes everyone sins daily. Maybe most of you men do... we females know how your minds work, lol.

Honestly with the smug comments that you make trying to fool some into thinking that you are always right is called deception and
    Proves my point, myself included.

Remarring in the Bible is also permissible.

We know marriage is a lifetime commitment according to the Bible, I cited the only two cases where divorce was permitted there are several places in the Bible that point this out.

    Sorry I have adult add.

    Death
    Adultery
Unbelieving spouse if she refuses conversion
    Are all reasons for divorce.

As far as remarriage after the divorce in the case of sexual immorality.
    Matthew 5:31-32
“Furthermore it has been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery."

The word except is key in the above verse. Divorce and remarriage are allowed.

The Bible permits divorce, it is so that the wronged or abandoned party may remarry , hopefully to an equally yoked spouse.

The Bible teaches that remarriage is permitted on the grounds of desertion, infidelity or death.
Not just because you have a difference of opinion.

I would say if it at all possible God would prefer we forgive and try and repair our marriage, but that's not always possible,in which case divorce is the only option.
