No one on this Earth can light a sky up like this..
One the other hand it sounds like a war zone here, I think every house within 4 miles is shooting off fireworks , and some big ones too...
With all the thunderstorms that have passed thru here today we got the noise and the bright flashes of light and for free, didn't even have to leave the house.
They started here with fireworks right at dark and still going strong, wouldn't be so bad but the wife is in bed she has to get up a 4:45 to get ready for work.. hopefully they are done soon.
KY rednecks are patriotic as hell.
Around my area and property I didn't hear a single "Boom" from fireworks. I did take one of my rifles and shot several rounds, morning of the 4th, to check the sights and practice shooting golf balls @ 150 yards. That was the only "Boom-Bang" in my area.
heck it's just not KY it's rednecks everywhere, I think Jeff Foxworthy did several jokes on it ,rednecks love stuff that blows up.. When I lived in GA many of the subdivisions around me had $600k + homes and those folks used to shoot of fireworks in their back yards that would put most small town fireworks shows to shame, they were just rednecks with money. lol
The leftovers will come tonight, and tomorrow night, with the grand finale Sunday night.
We heard someone big grande finale Sunday night. Sounded like tannerite went off. And we live in the biggest city in Kentucky.
Saw in the paper that's exactly what it was. Broke the windows of the house it was set off at and cracked a whole bunch of others. I never did hear just how much they used though.
