Just bought a 4 box limit of Tulammo .223 55gr fmj for $4.99/20 rounds at my local Rural King.

I've never shot that brand, but that's cheap enough for plinking I guess.

Great price you got. I’ve got a mountain of that stuff and it’s always shot great for me.

I had a mountain until I was offered 60 cent a round, but I kept an ant hill.

This Sunday Morning, I checked the various websites, where I order reloading supplies, and glanced at their ammunition to see what was available. Well, if one has an Elephant or Dangerous Game rifle, you're in luck, as they have: .458 Mag., .458 Lott, .460 Weatherby Mag., .378 Weatherby Mag., and a few other shells we wouldn't think of using on anything in Kentucky. Anyway they have all the above, with a few more Elephant loads; prices are high of course but haven't gone-up as much as our regular popular cartridges like .223, .30-30, .308, .270, or .30-06, which they are sold out.

I think supply will eventually level out, but who knows when. Prices? I think will take a long long time to come down if ever. Only gone up over the last year. People said you were a fool if you paid summer 2020 prices and now they've more than doubled.

Add in the government printing money like its toilet paper and handing out another round of stimulus checks, that $1 bill might not be worth what it was in 2019 again. Hope I'm wrong.

With current leaders mentality, inflation is s guarantee. In 10 years we will all be millionaires, but starving.

I am just wondering what Squirrel & Turkey Hunters, are going to do or use, if they can't find any .22 ammo or Shotgun shells to hunt with. This could be a very serious problem unless they have plenty of ammunition on hand.

It's out there you just have to be persistent or stand in line at the big box stores on their truck delivery days. Can't wait until the last minute unless you're willing to pay inflated prices from flippers.
