I just ordered 5 bags of reloading brass the other day. Had no complaints on shipping etc...

Turned around and found a bag of 9MM brass (100 rds) Price was fair. Go to check out and shipping is $20???

I live an hour and a half from Whittaker's and I can't see 100 9mm empties that might weigh 2 lbs? I think that is basically a fat handling charge tossed in to boost the margin..

I bought 500 rounds of once fired 9mm brass that was polished for 55.00 and free shipping from Precision Brass last week. It looks good.

Buying used brass, do you inspect each piece when you get it? Ever had any issues with split cases, dents, etc.?

I have some ordered from a place in California... I'm hoping it is decent quality.

What I ordered from Whittaker's was all factory new Winchester in 25WSSM(100 rds) 222 Rem 100 rds and 45ACP 100 rds. ACP was Frontier Brand IIRC.

I never was impressed with Darrel either.

Mayes

Back when he first started his business and worked out of his garage, he under cut everyone. That's how he built the business. You used to be able to buy a used gun with no tax, but not anymore. He would give you a fair trade on a new gun, but not anymore. His new gun prices used to be lower than just about anyone. Now, Rural King and the big box stores are just as competitive on new guns.
