I was thinking Shitts Creek!
I did same thing but second day I found birds, had to cover a bunch of ground and use my country boy been hunting for years technique to get one,
Haha wish I could have done that. These farms were limited ground. The neighbor actually had birds by the main road that strutted all day but her farm wasn’t leased by WHO. The farmer said he knew her and that she lived in Louisville he told me to shoot it but of course I didn’t
I followed them on Facebook for years and always thought wow what an operation. Look up their reviews on 3rd party websites they are nightmare stories
Almost had a bad situation, apparently they sell a whole pass or something that you can go on any place, anyway we were there at a farm, heard a hen Yelping, turned out to be another hunter coming through the woods that had permission but we was supposed to be the ones with permission, I had a little talk with him about walking around making turkey sounds, he listened and was apparently new to the sport, young man was glad to talk to him about being a little safer
You don’t call when you turkey hunt?
Not while moving.
Yeah, duh, that makes sense.
We was supposed to have been only people there for our payment money
I do when I’m sat down in safe spot
