Which shotgun would you buy?

I am looking to buy a new 12ga in the next couple of months and wanted to get some opinions. I would like to get a gun that would be good for turkey, ducks, and skeet. I don't want to spend more than $500. What would you buy? Thanks.

I love my Remington 870. In my opinion it's hard to beat.

Is the 870 a pump? Also, would you recommend me waiting to save up some more cash for a semi-auto or just get a pump?

870 is one of the most popular pumps ever. If you are going to waterfowl hunt much, you'd probably be better off with a pump. I prefer the BPS over the 870 for duck and turkey hunted because of the top thumb safety is much easier to access with gloves.

I like my Mossberg 835 ulti mag. I've never missed a turkey with it.

I had a 835, and never missed a turkey with it either. that is the hardest kicking production gun ever made when shot with 3.5" shells. I have a 935 that I turkey hunt with. that 835 would punish you, even with 3" shells.

I shoot mine with 3.5 inch it kicks just a bit. Haha

Benelli super nova, I've had mine for about 4 years now and never had a problem. The steady grip stock is a must have for comfortable shooting.

meh, I had a super nova, and it wouldn't shoot for shit with any turkey choke. I know 3 other people with the same problem. I sent mine back to benelli, and they returned it saying it shot fine with the standard chokes, which was true. I tried 4 different turkey chokes, and they all shot 6-8 inches to the left at 30 yards. I sent a choke in with the gun and benelli said that wasn't their problem.

870. Pretty much indestructible and easy to add accessories. I have several pumps and semi autos but my 870s are the workhorses of the bunch.
