Most of the .22 Blazer I’m seeing is the 38gr. That stuff shoots like garbage in my guns. Anytime I’ve came across the 40gr I’ve been snatching it up.
I didn't realize there were two different bullet weights offered in the blazers! I shot some today that I bought last year and wasn't the best at 50yds. Almost every five shot group the first shot hit high left then the other four were closer to the aiming point. Haven't had an ammo do that in a long time. I paid no attention to what bullet weight was listed on the box. I'm gonna check and see tomorrow.

I picked up 3 bricks of the 40gr when I realized how bad the 38’s shot. I hate shooting them because they are so hard to find.

I’m down to my last brick of Remington Vipers. They shoot POI with the Blazer 40’s and hit hard on varmints. Can’t find them for love or $. I know CCI is the old tried and true for reliability but accuracy and groundhog crushing performance hasn’t been there for me.

Checked mine today and it is 40gr. It's always been reliable for me just hit and miss on which guns like it as far as accuracy. I'll try the 38gr too if I find any.
I haven't shot vipers in a while but have some yellow jackets. They shoot pretty good in my savage mark ll GY. Five shots in a quarter or less at 50yds. I like to squirrel hunt with subsonic hp though. Which is another hard to find round here lately.

For those looking for 410 ammo uncle lees has some. It's 2 1/2". Some winchester super x 4 shot and some target loads, monarch I believe. Winchester is $19.99 a box and one target load is $16.99 and another is $19.99. I'm not sure how the small load of 4 shot will pattern but I know some rabbit hunters swear by the 2 1/2" 1/2oz load of #4's.

@Meatstick, check out these prices for your firebreather. Brass is more expensive than loaded ammo.

every walmart around has a "spot" for 209 primers but none of them get them.. One local shop has some 777 primers but those wont reliable ignite blackhorn. I wonder what of the guys are doing for 209's around here. No local shop has any..

I saw some blue dot this week. If it's still on the shelf i could pick up a pound (1 lb limit). I know you're in eky, I'm south of louisville. Not sure how we'd meet up.

oh yea I saw one local shop today got in cheddite 209 primers in time for early MZ season. Asking $17 per 100:oops::oops: you can order cheddite for $58 per 1000 and even after paying $30 for hazmat and shipping its still way cheaper.. comes out to about $9 per 100 but the more you order the cheaper it gets..
