Idk bout using a 22 due to lack of shells..but i would about guarantee they will be folks using low brass small game loads this year. But if you get them close enough..they will work.

I went to Alabama last week and I stopped at probably 10 different places and only one place had 3 boxes of WSM 300 ammo. Every place other than that had 0 boxes of anything.

Finally stopped at Sportmans warehouse in Chattanooga and they had 5 boxes of #5 3in Winchester XX turkey loads and about 4 boxes of #4. Guy in front of me got 2 boxes and I got 2 boxes of the #5. They had probably 20 boxes or more of Remington turkey loads.

Just picked these up. I'll check my inventory this evening and update if I have any to part with.

I was in worse shape than I thought.
I have 3 rounds of Long Beard XR #4 and 5 rounds of Rem High Velocity Magnum #5 shot.

That being said, I'll let 3 of these boxes go to someone who needs a box. I'm in Campbell County. I paid the sticker plus tax, which is what I want.

Of course if you want to trade some 300wm for it and keep your cash, I'm okay with that too. :D:D

Well I got a few mixed turkey loads I’d give away to somebody that needed them. Nothing expensive but they are 3” turkey loads.

The 410 patterned very well. At 20 it put 88 in the kill on a turkey target. At 40 it put 58 in the kill. I made one more adjustment up after these, and shot lead to make sure the pattern ended where I wanted it. Didn't shoot any more TSS cause well they are hard to find and expensive and I know its doing what I want. I shot a TSS at 60 just to see and it put 22 in the kill. I wouldn't shoot that little gun that far but it will do it!

I was at Buds in lex last week and in the back left corner of the store they had quite a bit of federal turkey loads. Didn't want to spend the money on tss as I already have about 10 rounds of longboard but picked up a box of the grand slam for a relative. Think it was around $20. They also have most of your rifle calibers except 6.5prc, the one I'm actually needing lol

When my son wanted to go his first time, offhand, at his age, he was able to handle 12g. target and game loads fine. We tested several different loads through his Undertaker light t. choke, and at up to 30, the Win Super X 1 ounce 6’s patterned almost as well as the 1 7/8 #4’s. The Fed 1 1/8 loads heavy game and REM Express 6’s were decent as well, but that little load is something special in his Stoger auto, and a very high pellet velocity; 1290 FPS. 40 would be a max, but he proved that they work at 28 yards, as dead is dead. I really never needed, or thought of, always heard, to test before, but it opened my eyes that shotguns can prefer different loads. So...... if you are really in a jam getting so called turkey loads, your rabbit loads might be ok if you keep you shots under 30, just test a few in order to know your limitations.
