So, what kind of areas do you guys like to hunt this time of year? I am very limited as I don't have a lot of access but plan on mainly hunting a travel lane between some bedding areas and my deer feeder. Although my son and I set a blind last weekend over looking a field and the same feeder. He's only 4 but I promised him another hunt. Early MZ we saw a doe but couldn't get a shot. I've got the Mr buddy ready to go and a portable DVD player so we can watch the grinch and hopefully take a deer. Cant wait to get out there. Anyone else hunting this way? Good luck and be safe.

I might sit on some food for the morning but I may get down and hit the ground a do a bit of walking and sitting. I’ve had some respond to calling the last couple of late ML seasons.

Try to find the does and hope there's a lonely buck prowling. I never expect much action after the rut, but they have to eat, so food is the key.

I would get between doe bedding areas and the food. Their are still does that will be coming in and the boys will be seeking to and from food.
