Went out last weekend to KY Lake and Barkley below the dams. Had a great time shooting fish. Unfortunately there's a LOT of snags out there though, so I'm really low on arrows and now my wife wants to join in with my daughter and I on the next trip - so I'm gonna need a decent amount of arrows.

So, where do you get the best deal on arrows?
I had bought some super cheap ones off Amazon and they only last a few fish (or shots) before they fail in one way or another so I'm not looking to get more of those.

Yeah, the "deals" on Ebay and Amazon are all cheap crap. AMS is overpriced at $20+ each. Our guide friend uses (sponsored by) TNT arrows and 3 barbed head. He thinks they're $13-15 ea. Muddyflatz in kuttawa carrie's them. I haven't googled to price shop (just got out of bed from last night's adventure). He swears by the 3 barbed head due to pull outs. My son shooting ams chaos two prong pulled out of two bigheads before switching.
I've now watched the boys shoot probably 1200 times and only one arrow was lost and that was because the button wasn't pushed on the spin cast reel.

Looks the water is rolling pretty good when u were there. Last night current was 2.2 mph, then all but one gate was shut and the river dropped 2' in three hours.

I installed line pullers on our bows. Used on two arrows last night, worked great. Stuck one tree (underwater). That braid line cuts your hands fast.

It sure was, but this is my only time I've been there so I have no idea how it is "normally". fished all day Saturday and got burnt up, then fished all day Sunday too and got soaked, lol. Was a blast.

We also learned snagging and my daughter put her bow up and kept at that till she got too tired of reeling them in.

That current, as a whole, is not the norm. When the turbines are running the current is tough where u are. What lb line u using? Tail hooked in that current must have felt like a whale. Single treble or multiple?

I think she brought in about 20 of them before we quit to head home for the day.

We shot our first spoonbills this past weekend! Thanks to everyone here for being helpful and answering questions.
My wife is HOOKED and keeps asking when we're going back.
Now I've got to pick up a hand-held spotlight for some night time fun. Any recommendations?

Barkley?? Any impact on the shocking?? I would recommend a bow mount light, frees up 1 person.

The shocking was just a sampling to show how many fish are in a particular area. The sonic barriers are to be installed sometime soon i think.

I was told it is an H250, it's my first lever bow, but I like it a lot for bowfishing so far.
