Not my favorite but it is rather tasty its an Afterburner Smokes Lager from Four Day Ray Brewing.
Yuengling is crap in my opinion.... For a cheap bargain basement beer; I'll take Keystone. For when I feel like a beer snob, lets go back to the mother country and embrace my German roots....
Make it a Hefe Wiezan preferably. A crystal Wiezan for a light warm day and a good Dunkel Wiezan with spicy food.!
I feel like this Kid when faced with a Yuengling, an Irish Stout or some of the craft beers that I have sampled...
I always assumed that to get hired on a Guiness, a prerequisite would be to have flunked out of German Brewery School....
That's awful. Lol
That's the way I feel when I use to drink those IPA and that dark stuff. Shewww weee
My favorite three at the moment, I'll try everything but the super dark beers. One I really liked that is no longer available Sam Adams Nitro Coffee Stout. Cheers
Cant get mine any more. Sterling BIG MOUTHS ice cold.
Haven't seen those in a while
Some good ones mentioned above. Before they started selling Yuengling in KY, I’d buy Fat Tire every now and then b/c it tasted a little like Yuengling to me. Love most of the Belgium Wheat Type Beers. Two of my favs are Hoeggarden and White Rascal. Don’t drink a lot of Sam Adams but the current Cold Snap is pretty good and similar to the Belgium beers. As far as Hefeweizen. Newport’s Hofbauhaus has a good one! Love that place. Great thread!
I would always buy yuengling when I went out of state but now i can buy it on the way home i never do. Some kinda mental thing i guess lol.
Amos moses by country boy is a dark beer some ppl like around here on draft. I don't care much for it personally. If I'm gonna drink the whangy tasting over priced IPA's it's gonna damn sure have a high alcohol %
Little lady will get me country boy shotgun wedding on occasion when she goes to town. I took a hell of a liking to it at a work banquet in Lexington a couple years ago.
Its probably my favorite from country boy too.
If any of yall visit the red river gorge there is a place called sky bridge station that has only Ky brews on tap. Not exactly cheap at 5$+ a pint. Domestics in the bottle. It's not a rowdy place but expect to feel like you're not in Ky because most the visitors isn't from Ky. The rock climbing community flocks to this place starting about spring break till freezing weather. If there's a upside it's mostly extremely fit women in yoga pants haha. There's yalls warning lol.
Munson were is that located .Is it on the road across from Rogers school
