I also spray PAM on the chicken before grilling. Also on steaks.
i like to grill my chicken in a aluminum wrap bowl take a piece make a bowl big enough for the meat add my lowerys sauce and throw on the grill. pretty good that way love the way lowerys sauce gets thick ands sticks to the chicken that way you get plenty of taste out of it.
That's the way to do it. Grill stores will even sell "grill mops" but most folks that like this method use the tongs and paper towel (or a small washcloth). Heat, scrape, oil, food. It should not burn off. I've never had good luck oiling the meat itself.
