What is the most Bucks you have ever seen in 1 day while hunting?



For me I seen 23 deer in 1 day at Camp Atterbury in Indiana a few years ago. (Shot a small 7 pointer that day).


I also saw 10 bucks in 1 day, in Indiana on private land.( It was the peak of the rut, plus other hunters had the deer pushed).

Opening day of gun season Callaway Co 2 years. Saw over a hundred total 12 different bucks. Saw some of the bucks 2 or 3 times during the day so I am sure some of the does were repeats.Even though I saw over 50 does at once on that farm during late season. Neadless to say we have gone on a serious mission to reduce the doe population. Saw about a million on a youth hunt on Ballard WMA back in the late 90s. That is only a slight exageration.

many many years ago i had over 100 deer at one time out in a corn field. had 40 to 50 at one time several times. fast forward to the present. i am still hunting the same area and doubt i see 100 different deer in a season. guess they are there just dont see them out like i used to.

Saw 38 in one day opening weekend 3 years ago and a few years back saw 9 bucks in a day....not bad for Fleming and Nicholas county

Actually, I've seen about a dozen does and 3 bucks (spike, 2.5 yr, and a bruser) in a field in city limits before.....Never been that lucky in the field... always 3 or 4 at a time...usually no more than 10 or 12 a day--mostly on the way out after dark.....

Opening day of gun season last year in western ky i saw 15 different bucks and a total of 22 deer that morning. It was an exciting hunt. I probably saw that many deer because everyone and thier brother are in the woods on opening morning of gun season. but either way it was fun

The midwest is nice, However Indiana doesn't have Kentucky Lake. LOL


And they are going to shortern the Indiana gun season to just 1 week.

19 deer in the first two hours of daylight. 4 of them were bucks. The third 17th deer I saw was a big 8, I shot him. While gutting him a 6 point with about an 18 inch spread chased a doe past me about 30 yards down the hill. It was an exciting 2 hours.

Evening hunt in Kansas last fall, nov 10th, 3 hours on stand. 30 does, 10 bucks. One ended up being a 164" 10 the other we guestimated in excess of 150". The others were smaller and younger.

About 6 years ago 43 does while hunting. In Frankfort not hunting seen over 100 with several bucks in the 100-120 range.

Back in '95 I counted 400 deer while driving around at Fort Knox in March. All were counted in about 3 hours. Counted 53 standing on one firing range at the end of Wilson Rd, beginning of Long Street.
