Marlin .22mag lever action. The ammo is still fairly cheap and it shoots so sweeeeeeeeet!
L A T E R . . .
My favorite is a thompson 83 aristocrat 22-250,i also like 223's and 22 pistols
Remmington 22-250 with 6x24 variable scope.
I would have to say rem. 243. Sweet little gun.
7mm-08 or 3 1/2" 12GA. copper-plated #4's.
I would have to say a .50 caliber sniper rifle, so that I can take them out at 1 1/2 miles. Just joking...
Rem 700 25-06. Originally bought in 1970 with a Weaver K8 complete for $154.00 out the door. Recently switched scopes to Leupold VX-II 3-9x40 got on a trade - still have less than $200 in it. Over the years it has accounted for several thousand whistle pigs using hand loaded 75gr hp.........darn how I miss ground hogs. Sat in one spot & killed 11 within 20 minutes once.
