But then again what do biologist know. I mean I have one who autopsied a double lung shot deer that lived and all the experts on here said it could never happen. I'd say listen to the majority answer posted here and not what your biologist said because he isn't right.
You just won’t let it drop. Funny you still never post any pictures of said miracle deer. I like seeing miracles as do most others.

shouldn't we as hunters take animals like this out of the herd.I see post all the time of broken legs and other wounds and no one wants to kill them, because it will cost me my buck tag. I don't know, hate to see things suffer when they could have been taken out. just my thoughts on the matter
I agree we should take injured deer out when we can, but what I don't agree with is when we as hunters start making decisions based on what we think might be a sick deer or culling a deer because we think it has bad genetics, there is no way even a seasoned Hunter can make those determinations. The cull buck is largly a myth there is very little instance of bad genetics ,it's mainly poor range or nutrition and often age.. We already know the once a spike always a spike is wrong.. I have strayed from the original topic... Basically there is no way for any of us to make the determination that deer is sick far too many factors we don't know.

He might have something. The rut has just amplified it. He’ll be fine. Once he slows down and starts back eating. Unless he bites a bullet.

There wasn’t a picture of the lunges. Only a picture of an old wound near the diaphragm. We have no idea what the damage done to each lung. Are you still standing by the idea a deer can live with a good center punch double lung?

To autopsy anything doesn't it have to be DEAD? So that tells me that double lung shot deer can't live.

No pic. The pic of the buck that the idiot provided showed a deer that had been shot way too far back, any fool could clearly see that. But,Joe knows.........oh wait, I think it was Bo knows.......I'm so confused,lol......he just keeps on digging his grave, and blames everything on anything shot with a Rage, and now a Montec, and doesn't want to talk about shot placement,or a dog that couldn't smell a pork chop if it was tied around his neck.

The autopsy was done 3 weeks after it was shot through both lungs and then killed with a rifle. Apparently no body on here knows how to read what the biologist said. Either that or they are just still riding their big head that they were proven wrong and can't bare to admit it.

For starters why are you bringing my dog into this. She didn't track the said deer either time it was shot. Not the first time when it had an arrow go through both lungs not the 2nd shot 3 weeks later with a rifle that killed it. When the said deer was quartering away on the archery shot the entrance hole that was shown was perfect for the angle with the broadhead lodging in the opposite shoulder. And Joe lacefield is the on who provided me with the pics and the story of the deer so are you calling him an idiot. You are just a rage fan boy and know that your time is coming that you will lose a deer to your beloved broadheads. I can assure you it will happen and then you will need to find someone who can help you find it with a dog. There is a reason that outfitters across the country don't allow hunters to use rage heads. And trust me it isn't because they work so good.
