What exactly is this saying, they are losing me, on the part that says 1 with 3 inch beard, or longer.

Means you can only take one tom, the other 3 must be hens or jakes with a beard of 3 inches or less

Wish they'd just cancel fall turkey season. 3 jakes or HENS. Makes perfect sense given the population has been declining for years.

Agree. Wouldn’t mind only 1 bearded bird in the Spring either. Of course one can always impose more stringent rules on one’s self.
