WHAT have YOU been doing Today??

Been replacing a commode that cracked and was leaking. Wouldn't ya know always more than one problem. Line broke off below the cutoff valve and didn't have enough line left to push it far enough through the floor to attach a new one so had to crawl under the house and put a new piece of line in. That was no problem or so I thought, until I went to get a new piece of line, the type line uses which I can't spell had been discontinued so I needed a shark bite to join another kind of line to it. Well as luck would have it went to 3 different stores and none of them had a shark bite in 1/2 inch. All said they had sold out during the last big freeze and we're having trouble getting new ones in. Finally located the one I needed went and got it and finally got it fixed. Simple job ended up taking all day.

Went to Lowe’s and two hardwares ,getting some pvc couples ,a week or so back,shelves were bare

It ran perfect when I stopped using it a year ago....
It runs perfect,but needs the carb cleaned..
It welds perfect but they havent used it in years..
It only needs "x" cleaned...Yea, so why haven't they done it..
and so on.......

A lot of that is simply people don't know how to or want to work on stuff anymore.
There is a lot of people who don't even know how to check their oil let alone be able to change a tire.

I went to the CFSB Center and watched Murray State win a home conference contest vs Missouri State today. Go Racers!

Mowed my lawn (hit a pile of dog shit from my neighbors dog, pissed me off) and put down some 7-20-20 fertilizer.
Did a few odd jobs around the house.
Watching a few basketball games and sipping on some bourbon an just decided to have a beer.

We’ll I was on my way out the door to go pick up a machine . I’d been talking to the owner. I was getting his location when it sold to someone else. That has happened 3x this last 7 days.. I don’t blame sellers for taking money from the first person to show up, not at all but damn if it dosnt get disheartening after a few times in a row

Stopped at Rural King and they had this stand in the clearance area for 100 bucks. Normally run about 300. The only one they had so I snagged it.
