Getting ready to flip this hundred barrel crude oil tank and see if I can do it without blowing myself clean UP!!
Anybody that wants to show me the "right" way to do it is more than welcome and I'll watch you from behind a big oak tree about a quarter mile away ... just in case you're wrong. 😄

I’d fire a few rounds in an unusable place first. Hell, I’d probably cut it with rounds just for the fun of it.
If it rains today and I see smoke in your direction I will head over😁.LOL! I'm the cutter, the welder AND the fire watch. I wear baggy pants so I can feel the heat before the flesh ignites.
Notice that shiny metal flexible exhaust pipe ... I'll run the exhaust from the welder into the tank for about 30 minutes and then throw a "test flare" through the hatch to see if it's safe to start cutting.
If it's not .... you can pick up the pieces somewhere in Allen County. 🤪
Dunno .... me and the tank are in the next county west but the last time I was there it was good eatin'.If it rains today and I see smoke in your direction I will head over😁.
What time does fish house open?
My neighbor stuck a torch to a 55 gallon oil barrel years ago. Good thing I happened to be in the yard that morning to save him and his barn.
Is that a 250 or a 300 lincoln there? At first glance i thought it was a old 200 but then I didnt see the exciter sticking ou the front..Getting ready to flip this hundred barrel crude oil tank and see if I can do it without blowing myself clean UP!!

Ahhh, I didnt even think about that,LOL.. They are great old machines, smooth as butter.. My last job supplied me with a new 250 miller bobcat, it was a good, very reliable machine but it wasnt nearly as smooth. The arch was jumpy and kinda rough to be honest. Though on the plus side it was a helluva generator and out a lot of power. Since I retired early Ive been looking for my own jenny-welder.. got some good machines in the shop but i need a mobile machine bad..KYBOY, you were right ... it IS an old 200, the exciter is on the other end.
It's the sweetest welder I've ever owned, smooth as glass and more power than you'll ever need, love to hear it run. The ONLY thing wrong with it is that it just has a single DC 120 outlet for grinders and such but that's it.
Wouldn't trade it for a brand new welder with all the latest bells and whistles but then again .... I wouldn't have a clue how to operate it if I did have one. 🙃
