Yes sir ours to. Our fist cuttings wasnt all that great either. Turned off less than last year. Hay going to be short this year.

Hauled a truck and trailer load of furniture. Took another Turkey mount and my bow off the wall l, and a single tear rolled down my cheek.

We are not going to do any second cutting. Only some square bales. May sell some second cutting square bales if we can find some buyers.

I’ve been reading nonstop comments from youngsters talking about how global warming is causing this heat and drought. For the majority of my life through the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s this was the normal. The past 10 years are the anomaly.

Pulled my little swisher down in the holler today. It gets hairy getting a tractor down here, so I usually use the swisher and buggy instead. That little machine impresses me every time I use it. It was head high horse weeds and trash this morning. Jumped a few deer and a few cow snakes that were pushing 15' it looked like. They throw that head up high when they're trying to get out of Dodge.

A farmer flagged me down on my way home from work and asked if I had a rifle with me, uh yes sir, Im breathing aren’t I.

Busted 3 rascals destroying an acre of beans. 17 Mach2.

I melted down 3 times today working on electric fence so I can run the cows across the highway soon.
My skinnyass wife went up the Creek with me the first time and we got about half done there. Came home took cool shower, rested and went back at IT 2 more times.
Tried to bushog, but the old bushog broke a weld and has to be repaired.
But. It was a good day and we got a sprinkle of rain just now. About 0.1 inch, but that's better than Zero.
The little Blue Dot is about like the Sahara Desert.


Just Try to keep a fence next to This Creek.

We put 400' of posts in for fence today. I guess we will put wire on it tomorrow or Monday. It was a hot sonofamother and I'm wore slap out. We got our 0.1 at 7 am this morning.

The rain started in Murray and moved east, gully washer. Of course, I live west of Murray and didn’t get a drop. My yard is dead lol, should have watered but after mowing 2X a week last 8-10 years I’m good not mowing.
