My wife’s mom passed at midnight so spent the day making arrangements. She had dementia and really going down hill. Glad the Lord took her home. It’s been a tough 6 years taking care of her for my wife. Watching someone die before your eyes is a hard way to see you loved ones.
WW..... sorry for your families loss.

Went through my mom and father in law both with dementia ... and both passed within a year of each other. I agree that its tough, sad and a relief to a point you feel guilty even though their in a better place. It was honestly harder than when I lost my dad to cancer.....just hard to see anyone get in that shape.

Ya'll are in our prayers.

Prayers for you and your wife. Prayers for your family. Same thing happened to my mother.

The Berg
Ran across This one today on my bike ride. Right in front of my driveway in the road. Knock on wood…..I’ve never seen one in the yard but this seems to be a popular road crossing for them. I see several dead and alive every year in this spot in the road.
only thing that worries me is my dogs.

I went home and got my rake but he was gone when I got back.

I grantee It’s a hell of a lot more dangerous for me to ride a bike fast one handed with a rake than to run across a venomous snake crossing the road. 🥺🤪😂

got a new pawl and pawl bushing(lost my originals thanks to a coon) in for my well used Daiwa SS1300.. Ive had that reel for over 20 years and caught a ton a fish on it. Some big fish too. I couldn't bear not to fix it. Its one of the best reels Daiwa ever made and pretty expensive for its time
... Glad to get her back in service

Finally got to fish again. We took the boat out on Beaver and frankly my fishing sucked. I managed to land 2 small bluegill while hubby filled the livewell with catfish, bass, crappie, and a bunch more bluegill..... But I was outside on the water & it was a wonderful day! Until we got home and the pain hit... I've been horizontal on the couch ever since after digging in to my leftover pain meds. P.s. Shhhh! Don't tell my surgeon what I did!!!
