Can't you just remove the bolt Until you get home then put a discharge bolt in it and shoot it?

I don’t own a crossbow and only shot one once at hunter ed class bout 30 years ago. I just wanted to say thanks for your service and enjoy the retirement when it gets here.

Yes and that was my only shortfall. I was tired from a long day of hunting. I admit my mistake not removing the bolt but nothing legally prevents me from keeping the bolt on the rail.

I've heard great things about Lexington. My wife and I are considering retiring there....

Is it illegal to shoot a bow in the city limits or something?

I had to leave Lexington, kept getting into altercations with thugs (and police). Place went downhill when they tore down the gov housing and spread the thugs all over town.

Lex has went backwards. Look hard at Versailles. Easy access to Lex and Frankfort. Easy trip to Taylorsville WMA.

“Frowned upon” I’m sure. I actually shoot in my back yard from time to time.

Yes but it’s just as expensive as Lexington. I know, have looked at a lot of homes there. I really like Versailles. Really Versailles, Georgetown and Nicholasville are just the outskirts of Lexington these days. I live in Masterson and can be in Georgetown faster than I can go to the Hamburg.

My wife has a friend that has a huge farm right down the road and they let me shoot. Probably got some good hunting on it but it’s a huge working farm and I’ve never asked. Mostly wide open cattle farm. We got a pretty nice archery range, Hisle Farms Park, but you can’t shoot xbows or broadheads.
