Had a friend who is dead now use to catch turtles under roots of river banks just like people catch catfish,. Got 5 burlap sacks one day in less than 2 hours, mfer had all 10 fingers!
I don't know how many turtles I caught on limb lines in my teens. Hundreds... I'd get them on the bank, then hit them in the head with my "turtle stick" and knock them out. Then I'd grab them by the head and remove the hook. When their eyes would blink and stay open, watch out!

Yeah, they say feel the shell and can tell which end the head is on.... I never had the guts to do that.........
Yeah see that right there is where it gets tricky, lol
He said long as your hand was flat on bottom they couldn't get ahold of you, ...... Well I ask how you know if you got a front leg or back leg, he said you'll know ....
This is how he did it, 1. Hand flat till felt one
2.find a leg and turn it around
3. Grab tail and pull it out
My problem is ifin you make a mistake and grab a head instead of a tail you may spend rest of your life explain why your missing couple fingers.

Exactly.... Find smooth edge, then start moving..... If you hit jagged edge, you've got the back....... But if you don't, you're in the danger zone.... I could never do it........

See that's what I'm talking about you gotta raise a finger up enough to find that smooth/jagged edge that's the problem lol

5 times a been bit where it breaks the skin by someones dog. chickens, goose, duck, horses, hamster, kids, and i cant remember all else yet. when the kids bit me, i'd bite em back. not as hard, but they didnt bite me no more.. Gretta the red horse, she tried to bite me once more, an i grabbed her halter, then left ear, an bit it, she quit trying after that.
to break puppies that bite, i'd take they paw, put it in their mouth an squeeze the nose, lower jaw.. had my share of insect bites, but the strangest tick bite i ever seen, my cousin had a tick that got em on the tongue. it was about an inch from the tip of his tongue. never could figure that one out.. the tick had already got about half grown..

They also said they don’t turn around ,until they’re disturbed or coming out too ,who knows when they might be coming out

Guarding my lovely bluebirds
... Lethal furball managed to draw blood from top of my right foot five minutes ago, quickly dashing beneath the duster, as I immediately and loudly screamed "No" at her while suffering pain. That rudely awakened me, and I didn't appreciate such. Rubbing alcohol/pressure didn't stop the bleeding, hence bandaid. I'm behind closed doors as punishment to her, while she loudly screams for her breakfast, and she can keep screaming, until she tires of such, the little witch...
