Here is mine. It’s a one cent piece from 1839. My Aunt found it in my grandmother’s house after she passed away and gave it to me. Got me to thinking, not too many things out there that are 182 years old!

A Kirk style point. Some guy a lot smarter than me guessed it about 5,000 years old. Give or take. Found it when stepping across the creek at my place. Looked like somebody dropped it the day before...

Probably a toss up between some of my 1850s'ish era cast iron and a wooden mantle that came from my great grandmother's house - or maybe a coal oil lamp that belonged to my husband's great grandparents.

Probably the neatest however was a journal we just found in a big stack of paperwork from my in-law's estate. It's a handwritten journal of my husband's great grandfather's sermons. Over 500 pages. There aren't any dates but I found a typed one that was folded up in it that was dated from 1908. Someday I hope to have time to sit down & read all of them.

On my side of the family, the neatest heirloom I have is my grandfather's handwritten sobriety pledge to my grandmother & aunt & father. You can feel his pain as he apologizes for how his drinking has affected them all. I don't know if he was successful in keeping the promises he made (he died 15 years before I was born) but I hope he did.

Good question. I honestly don’t know right now. Got a really old stamp collection boxed up in the attic. Now, my dad, all sorts of old stuff.

I have a bunch of old arrow heads that are old .
The oldest thing I have and is dated is a 1810 half dollar.
I found it in my tobacco patch one morning topping tobacco by myself.

Have a cast iron skillet that was my wife's great-great grandmothers. Also a S&W revolver my late father-in-law gave me that's over 100 years old.
