What’s the latest you have seen a fawn

This was back in 2018 and I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. Just never know when they are going to be breeding that was some late late rut action lol. I thought it was kinda cool

Around the end of October is the latest I can remember seeing one that young. I wonder if they make it when they're born super late like that. The one in your pic looks super healthy.

Got a pic of a spotted fawn this year right before Thanksgiving, tiny one, probably a few weeks old. Only one picture which is strange on a corn pile.

Saw twin fawns probably only a few weeks old in early October a few years ago. Whitetail gestation is +/- 201 days so that puts conception sometime in late February or early to mid March. Bucks are fertile year round so if there’s a hot doe there’s no reason she can’t conceive.

Totally different animal but I’ve watched gobblers bred hens in June.

As far as spots, gun season in November. But I’ve seen good sized fawns opening weekend of Turkey season which means probably born as early as late March. Think about how early those does were bred.
