I quit Zestas after decades because their quality went down, and they tasted moldy and went stale way too quickly. It must be a trend because other brands sell out and Zetas are always in stock these days.

Sooooo, just an update here:

Yesterday, I repeatedly pestered the Kellogg Company, for a total of fifteen different times... it's true.

My calls bounced from home office in Battlecreek, Michigan to Memphis, and then to the plant in Jackson, Tennessee. I spoke with a wide variety of employees. Via my typical due diligence, I ended up snagging the cell phone number for the Quality and Food Safety Manager, whom also holds the title of Supply Chain Planning Manager, but precisely how I did so, I shall refrain from mentioning. We both laughed over my accomplishment, when she returned my call, after hours lololol...

Someone "more qualified" to answer my specific assembly line questions is to return my call. 🤔

Thought it was just me and my old taste buds lately on the going stale quickly part. I'll probably find another myself.

All is fine, munching upon one now.

Those crackers are basically just salt, flour, and water. You seriously can't get a more basic product then saltine crackers. No need to pay for a name brand for those to begin with IMO.

I’d wager it’s a screw up and they will be more than happy to refund you your money…..which is just inconvenient and stupid. How’s bout they be competent enough to fill the order 100% as opposed to 75%.
No screw up. We use a lot of Zesta crackers, and we opened a box a month or so ago and yes, they are short, but the box stayed the same. Every box we have bought was from different stores and they were all short.
