I am looking for pigeons to start a coop and for training a pup. Anywhere within a couple hours drive of Somerset works for me. Anyone with some extras they want to get rid of?
I can’t help but I’m in Jamestown and would also be interested in some birds should you find more than you want.
Find any farmer that has barns they usely be glad to get rid of them, go in at dark with a fishing dip net 2 people one on each end of barn, we caught 96 pigeons like that for a cookout one summer

We're getting ready to sell a 3 yr old white face black body cow that's an extremely gentle good mother. She has a white face young bull that will probably go 500. He's extremely gentle as well. Make someone an excellent herd bull in 6 months or less. We're getting rid of a couple more. Young heffer about 500 solid black. It's mother is a Holstein Angus cross and very gentle. Her calf is stand of fish. They are very healthy and going to the auction in pendleton / Smithfield Monday evening. The cross cow probably 5. They don't belong to me but, they're on my farm. Just thought I'd mention it if you might be interested in very gentle young bull.
Ok wire cage with no bottom, dig a trench with grubbing hoe starting shallow just wide as hoe then deep like 3in deep going back to shallow again ,sit cage half way of the trench throw crack corn or bird feed on each end and sprinkle some in trench, . Now the point is they get to pecking at the feed and walk right up in trap once they get in panic sets in and they ain't got no feed left so no reason to duck there heads heads down to go out
I gave heard of old timers catching quail like that during the depression . They used tobacco sticks.
