You can eat about anything. The Mexicans I worked with last hitch told me they eat armadillo all the time. Don’t mean it’s good

I lived with a Chinese family in Jamaica (best friend from school was a daughter). They had been there for three generations, and I was dating a British descendant down there, whose mother was a cordon bleu chef, retired. The Chinese family owned a well known restaurant in Ocho Rios, serving a mixed menu, but would eat differently, themselves. The father bird hunted, quail.

Needless to say, over five years time, I was introduced to a variety of new foods, but of all, the most disgusting was one in which I only watched being eaten, early one morning, before my first cup of coffee. The grandmother, whom did not speak a word of English, of my best friend was sitting alone at the breakfast table, holding a small white bowl in one hand, and chopsticks in the other. Although I prefer not to converse for a few hours after awakening, in order to be polite to my hostess I walked over with inquiry, as to what she had in the bowl. She quickly tipped it toward me, showing me a large, thick fish head, raw, as she held an eyeball with her chopsticks. I felt like I was going to be sick, causing her to giggle with delight. I have never eaten sushi because of her.

A hunter up this way told me that he does not duck hunt, because ducks taste greasy nasty. He prefers venison and some other small game. I am not much for greasy foods, and so I do not know if I would enjoy duck. I would tend to believe that it could be prepared in a few manners, which would cause it to not taste greasy? My mother never prepared it, even though my father was an avid duck hunter and more, very good at it.

It will, in 12 days it’ll be great again. For me anyway. I’ll be off here and somewhere between SEMO and North Fl hunting birds

You know good and well that I fail to know most ducks/geese from another, lol. I have never heard my father mention that term, either, but I shall ask him about it, whenever I next visit with him (perhaps he even utilizes a much older term for it, if he knows what it may happen to be).

I did locate this, learning that it is controversial. The individual supports it. I watched only long enough to realize that. I am in the midst of trying to locate a rather old article online, relevant to politics...

I asked him. He did not answer me, but that may have been because he was in the midst of receiving staples to his scalp in the emergency room.

Sounds like bad timing. Mama hit him in the head with a skillet?
