Deer & Deer Hunting are saying on their website it was killed by a young crossbow hunter in early November. I'm assuming the guy in the picture, I can't find any mention of a green score though. The spread is supposedly like 34"
First off, anyone with half a brain knows deer like this are extremely rare and your gonna put yourself under scrutiny as soon as you put it in the media. If I had been fortunate to kill something like that, I would contact the game department or even local law enforcement to come to the kill site before I even moved the animal so I would have some kind of witness with credibility. It would be easy enough to see if the deer was killed there.
Hopefully all is true in the taking of this buck and the hunter is credited for it.
