Video out of Martin County last night

Housecat. The perspective makes it look bigger then it is. I can tell by the way it walks it's not a big cat.

100% just a house cat imo. Doesn’t move at all the way mountain lions do (in addition) to just being small.

Nope. I'd even venture to say it's not even that big for a housecat. Show me some tracks, show me an object of a known size put in that same spot for comparison...not going to happen because it's a pussycat.

Put a housecat sized object in that same spot and see how big it looks. It's not a big cat.

I said "big domestic cat" but I was mostly not wanting to make someone feel bad for thinking it was a real big cat. You are right if that cat walked down by the truck we would barely be able to see it.

I agree The mountain cats are getting thick, but that’s obviously a cougar in the video. Plain as day.

Need to have a grown up walk in the same spot as the cat in another video. In daylight and one at night.
That would prove how big the cat is.

If it is one it’s a very young one. That long tail carried close to the ground like that makes me say maybe?? As I said in another thread it wouldn’t shock me one bit if one turned up hit by a car in eastern Kentucky.

A couple years ago someone on eastern ky showed me a pic of what they said was a mountain lion. I know the exact spot it was taken. It’s the only pic where I’ve been like yeah that’s probably a mountain lion. Anytime I’m in that area I check muddy spots for tracks. Found bear tracks but no lions.

My son was coming down the Mountain on I-40 Tennessee on a Motorcycle, and one ran out in the road in front of him. He said he almost hit it.
About 10 years ago.
