I have not seen many deer at all in Cumberland Co. who else is seeing this? All trail camera pic are at night and no buck activity. I think the warm weather and acorns have them staying in their hiding spots.
I've mentioned already on a few threads on here, I haven't been since last Sunday but in 4/5 previous sits I've not saw a single deer. I hunt Scott about 3 miles from the Owen/Franklin line. Supposed to be deer there, right? [emoji15]I'm in the deep woods in acorn heaven so somebody nearby must have something they like.
I hunt mostly in Metcalfe co. But I also have a spot in cumberland co. Towards sulphur creek dock. Both places are slow. In Metcalfe I have had few pics all my big deer are gone and I'm getting all does and small bucks at night. I ran out of corn in Metcalfe and hopefully the deer will come back when the temp lowers later in the week.
Been seeing deer every evening around the farm here in Metcalfe. Cold weather on the way will keep them moving a bit more I bet. I will be out looking to get some meat with the bow. I noticed a lage persimmon tree with fruit dropping still bringing them in.
I am not hunting any since I got my buck a while back but I was on our farm yesterday evening and saw about 25 does out in food plots. My dad has been seeing the same two 120 inch 8 pointers about everytime out. Rest of the bucks seem to be laying tight.
