Up a creek in Rowan Co.
I finally made it up the hill today, a little slick but not at all what I expected. The deer have been up and moving for the past week. For the first time this year I am getting Two bucks in one photograph. One camera captured 487 pic’s in 9 days, the flash does not operate well below 28 degrees, 75% of the file were black. The other got 203, in 6 days. The bucks are traveling with the doe’s, It reminds me of a pack of dog after a bitch. The smaller bucks are hanging close to the doe’s and the two dominate bucks of the heard, a heavy, tall tined, 10 pointer and a 14 pointer with a dark and extremely heavy rack. On the way back to the truck I bumped him and a doe at 2 o’clock. They where bedded at the base of the cliff; saw the doe first, and then he stood up and was heading down the small depression to my right, he kept his tail tucked tight; head low, legs quick and steady. It was over in seconds, sixteen months of photo’s, scouting, and hunting; I finally got my first good look at him, with that dark chocolate rack, being just as impressive as I had imagined. That image will fuel my dreams for a few nights. I have added some video from last week.

i run 4 of the same cameras, when you get black pic's u need to change the batteries. these cheap cameras are decentn but they eat batteries.
