I was reading some comments on KSR website yesterday and was surprised that several wanted Pitino back! I’m not in that camp, but it is fun to think what might have been had he not left. Or what he would have done with the talent Cal has had.
I think Rick would have more chips in 13 years than cal with the talent. Just saying.

Ky is a hard place to be a basketball coach, should be like Congress ,they need term limits LOL, wins and losses don’t seem to matter that much anymore.Kansas St. has a coach and a team ,that had a purpose ,they wanted to win bad ,Ky as a team ,just didn’t seem to have the fire ,and desire that use to be there ,and I blame that on the coach and staff. That’s just an ole head of the holler opinion

On other forums and platforms some are saying ‘WE’ are crazy to want cal gone before we see what he does with next year’s freshman. My response is I’ve seen all I want to see of him. These remaining teams in tourney don’t have 5 star players every year and they don’t have them to win if u know how to coach them.
That’s not true, Arkansas, Bama, Houston, Auburn, Tennessee, UCLA, Indiana all had top 15 recruiting classes and they all have at least one 5 star on the roster from the 2022 class alone. All the other teams have NBA players on their rosters aside from your Cinderella teams. So this is false. You have to have a star player to win that’s just the facts. Ball today isn’t what it was 20 years ago when a bunch of holler scrubs could light it up.

He'd probably be the highest paid college coach ever had he never left. Of course his extracurricular activities may have still gotten the better of him. Perfect example of "the grass isn't always greener..." .

Rick is a coach and can make a hand out of what is dealt him. Rick recruits attitude above talent also. I believe he said one time biggest mistake was leaving Ky. Like everyone else I hated seeing him leave but the facts are facts.
I dont believe he would have had the teams Cal has had. They would of still went were Cal was.
But I do believe we would have double the championships ,maybe triple if Rick had stayed.

Rick patino is a douche and a giant no thank you to his return. He’s old and uk can do waaaaaaaaaay better!!
He looks "Rough" looks like he's 80 years old. If he feels like Chasin Wimmen, I wish him success.
I saw on Some Sports site that the New Quarterback for Las Vegas "Raiders"? has been offered "Free Sex for Life" by 2 ladies at some establishment out there.
