I hate preseason picks. Look at how many preseason top ten football teams aren't ranked in the top 25 at the end of the season. That's just wishful thinking at best.

We have 3 mcdonalds all americans, one 1st round draft pick, the defending national player of the year, 2 transfers that were 3 point sharp shooters, and the 2 time SEC assist leading PG. How can that team not be coached to make the tournament in a year when no one is excellent?

Haven’t watched the cats the last few years,but just maybe these kids ,are being coached ,to not take any chances of an injury.I hope it gets lined out,Ky. basketball is real important to a lot of people and the state of Ky .

That's an opinion and based on his recruits and the fact that it's Kentucky. Tell me when Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, and Kansas isn't in the preseason top ten. It's just a given due to the talking heads trying to cover their lack of knowledge.

This much talent should be a contender any year, much less this year. So I don't buy the pre-season hype was too high. This wasn't a bunch of freshman that were overrated.

Don’t just judge Cal on this team. He’s been coaching for how many years? 30 plus? One title with amazing talent is nothing to be proud of. And now he’s even worse at competing against more modern offensive systems. He’s washed up and fat and lazy. I think I read he make like 175,000 a week regardless if he wins a single game ever again.

I know and just think about the deal I gave everyone for football/basketball, whatever…I guarantee a National Title in either sport in my first season and if not I’ll walk away. I want 2 mill, up front. Seriously, that’s a steal these days. National Title or I quit and take my 2 mill and run.
