What have you seen? Nothing so far here.
Quiet and breezy here in Oldham County. Im going to give it 30 more minutes then imgoing to climb down and go to work. Havesome lawns to mow before it rains. Probably come back out in evening. I hope things will start to improve after this cold front moves through.
Not seen but one squirrel and usually I'm over ran with em. Guess it's to windy for everything today
Two squirrels and butt load of doves. I'm going to try and sit here until 1030 with the hopes of seeing at least one deer. I hate the wind while on stand. It takes the enjoyment and peacefulness out of being in the woods.
Windy and quiet in Boyle Co. Beats the heck outta the office, though.
Seen one couldn't make out what it was about 8:00.
I've heard 4 shots. And haven't seen anything in anderson.
Well I'm glad to know its not only me.... Been seeing a crap ton of deer. Hunted yesterday until 2:30 seen 0. Been at it since 6 this morning and seen O... Moved spots around 9 and still nothing.....
Hopefully this cold weather gets them moven. Seeing a lot in he morning but with the warmer temps nothing in the evenings.
2 Does in Green Co. Waiting for the movement to break loose here.
1 six point and two turkeys other than that real Slow.
I had 1 deer move through before daylight and then a 6 point came cruising by at 6:20 and nothing after but heard 5 shots down the holler from me. This has been the slowest gun season I've ever had. Last week saw a bunch of young bucks cruising but this is the first buck I've seen since gun seasoned opened.
Seen one mature 8 hot after a doe about 7 am. Crossed the road in front of us near the house. First serious chasing I have seen so far.
Second morning of hunting and once again didn't see a thing. Last year I had one or two days where I went without seeing anything but never back to back. Hopefully I can get out for a few hours this afternoon and see if they are moving through in the evenings. If not I may be switching to public land.....and it just seems backward to move from private land to public.
0 deer in Breck co. Getting down and going to eat pb&j sammich! Crap on the wind!!
